From Thursday, July 3 to Saturday, July 12, 2025 – Toronto Cabaret Productions presents Mathew’s Big Broadway Bash at the Heliconian Club as part of the 2025 Toronto Fringe Festival. This isn’t just a show – it’s a high-energy, feel-good love letter to the musicals we grew up on and still belt in the shower.

Lights, laughs & Toronto Fringe magic await!

What does it take to throw a Broadway-themed cabaret on a Toronto Fringe budget? Spoiler alert: It’s not all glitter, disco balls and flying chandeliers. But what they do have is heart, talent and a whole lot of Broadway magic.

From Grease to Cats, Mamma Mia! to The Little Mermaid, Pippin to The Sound of Music – they’re serving showtunes with a side of sass, and inviting the audience to be part of the party. This cabaret is for everyone who’s ever dreamed of being on stage – even just for one song. It’s about access, community and pure joy. And yes, it’s Fringe, so it’s scrappy – but that’s where the real creativity lives.

A cabaret-style party bursting with show tunes, sing-alongs, surprises & big Broadway energy

Theatre doesn’t need chandeliers to be magical – just heart, creativity and a little sparkle. Whether you’re a die-hard Broadway buff, a spontaneous sing-alonger or just someone looking for a night of laughter, music and sheer delight, this show is your invitation to join the party.

Following its run at Toronto Fringe, Mathew’s Big Broadway Bash heads to Edmonton Fringe (August 14 – 24).
