Spotlight at The Second City: November

On Tuesday, November 18 and Wednesday, November 19, 2025 – Toronto Sketch Comedy and The Second City Toronto present the November edition of Spotlight at The Second City, featuring Red Hot Sili Peppers and Summer Dad, at The Second City’s Theatre ‘73.

Each month, Spotlight at The Second City will feature two celebrated troupes performing polished 30-minute sets for a two-show run. The Second City Toronto will open its doors to the next generation of sketch for audiences to enjoy a double-header sketch show. Hosted and produced by Taylor Hreljac and Gabe Meacher, this series presents sketch comedy’s best troupes in their best light.

Two acts, one amazing night of fresh comedy

After a successful launch of this new monthly series in September and October, November’s line-up will showcase Red Hot Sili Peppers, featuring Emily Callahan, Julia Ettlinger and Glenna Walters; and Summer Dad, featuring Chris Johnson, Chrissy Sharma, David Hudon, Kaitlyn Stollery, Kevin Forster, Rachel Powell and Taylor Hrejlac.

The shows are on one Tuesday and Wednesday per month, and the next event in the series will be on December 9 & 10, 2025. Check back on The Second City Toronto website for details and tickets for future dates.

“It is a rare opportunity for sketch troupes to perform their feature-length shows more than once outside of the festival circuit. We partnered with The Second City to create this monthly show where established and emerging sketch troupes, that the whole scene is excited about, can show their best stuff to industry and audiences on a professional stage.”

– Taylor Hreljac & Gabe Meacher, Toronto Sketch Comedy & Co-hosts of Spotlight at The Second City
