For six performances only – Wednesday, February 18 to Sunday, February 22, 2026 – Wren Theatre presents their original adaptation of Pride and Prejudice. This fresh take on the beloved classic brings new life to the timeless tale of Elizabeth Bennet and Mr. Darcy, filled with clever twists and delightful surprises. On for a limited engagement at Randolph Theatre.
Don’t miss this captivating journey on stage!
Step into a world of wit, romance and societal intrigue with this new adaptation of the Jane Austen novel, written by Ferron Delcy and Jesse McQueen, and directed by Wren Theatre Founder and Artistic Director Tatum Lee.
In adapting Austen’s epic novel for the stage, the company wanted to not only capture the author’s brilliantly witty sense of fun, but bring the story to a place that speaks to audiences today. They also wanted to focus on the people – making sure that each character has a journey – looking at who they are, the dynamics between them and the other characters they know and care about, and the development of those relationships, as well as how they see themselves.
A fresh take on a beloved classic
Playwright and actor Jesse McQueen observes, “And, of course, this is an iconic love story – but what’s most iconic about it is that it shows that love really is complicated. Romantically, in friendships, in families, sisterly love is so important to this story – and then also love of self and the journey that people go through with that. I think trying to highlight all of that in this piece with all of these incredible actors and creatives is the part I’m most excited for.”
The cast features Lizzie Moffatt as Elizabeth Bennet and Devin Bell as Mr. Darcy, with Lucas Blakely, Liam Cardinell, Katelyn Doyle, Daniel Christian Jones, Zaniq King, Paige Madsen, Jennifer McEwen, Jesse McQueen, Lizette Mynhardt, Caleb Pauze, Marissa Rasmussen, Darius Rathe, Karen Scobie and Anne Shepherd.
