Come explore the watercraft collection & connect with nature
Explore the Exhibition Hall
Learn from the world’s largest collection of paddled watercraft, featuring exhibits that share the deep connections between Indigenous Peoples, land and water through the lens of the canoe and kayak. Interactive activities and films offer insight into traditions, histories and ongoing legacies.
Connect with the land
Weather permitting, find a moment of peace and contemplation on the Lakefront Campus, whether through a walk along the water, a paddle on the lake or simply taking in the natural beauty that surrounds us.
A day of reflection & a call to action
The National Day for Truth & Reconciliation is not only a time to reflect on our complex, shared histories but is also a call to action. The Canadian Canoe Museum encourages all visitors to listen, learn and consider their role in reconciliation.
“Miigwech, thank you, merci to all who choose to spend this day with us. Plan your visit today.”
