& big heartbreak at a community centre drama class.

Alumnae Theatre presents: Circle Mirror Transformation

From Wednesday, March 11 to Sunday, March 22, 2026: Alumnae Theatre Company presents Circle Mirror Transformation, by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Annie Baker. A six-week-long community centre drama class transforms four lost people and their teacher. Presented in Alumnae’s Studio Theatre.

Theatre games spark revelation & realization

When Marty and her students begin to experiment with harmless theatre games, hearts are quietly torn apart, and tiny wars of epic proportions are waged and won. Tinged with humour and sadness, Circle Mirror Transformation is a beautifully crafted diorama about love, connection, loneliness and loss – and a nuanced meditation on theatre, life, death and the passage of time.

Produced by Valérie Carrier and Leah Vaz Howard, and directed by Lori Delorme, the cast features Violet Brown, Julius Chapple, Janet Hurley, Kris Law and Cassidy Sadler.

They hope to see you there!

This production is generously supported by Studio Lab Theatre Foundation.
