If you have a favourite pen to make notations, be sure to bring it along. Pre-registration is required and spots are strictly limited!

About Edda Manley

Edda has studied various aspects of handwriting for over 30 years. Her passion has been keeping cursive handwriting in school curriculums. To that end, she was one of the founding members of Campaign for Cursive and contributed to information given to U.S. politicians in the 21 states that enacted legislation to bring cursive back after it was removed from the Common Core curriculum. For seven years, she also organized the Cursive is Cool handwriting contest for English schools in Canada.

For several years, she has given cursive handwriting classes through the Oakville Library system in both Oakville and Milton, ON; and has privately tutored students in cursive for many years.
