From Wednesday, August 20 to Sunday, August 24, 2025 – Hard-Bitten Productions presents the Canadian premiere of Dear Ms. Kitt. Written by Chantel Winters, it’s a powerful and tender family drama about guilt, identity and accountability, held together with a little girl’s love of Eartha Kitt. Running at Native Earth’s Aki Studio.
An unexpected inheritance awaits a singer’s homecoming
After nearly a decade abroad, Nina, an estranged singer, returns home after learning of her mother’s death. She hopes to recharge her singing career with her inheritance, only to discover she’s inherited more than she expected. Forced to confront a past she tried to forget, Nina has to learn to forgive before it’s too late.
After being selected for New York’s 2019 Broadway Bound Theatre Festival, this production comes to Toronto under the direction of the multi-talented Chantal Forde, with a cast featuring Jenae Fairclough, Edgar George and Amanda Whyte.
