Ellen Jovin’s Grammar Table

A pop-up grammar advice stand

A few years ago, Ellen Jovin set up a popup grammar advice stand she called the Grammar Table near her home in New York City. She wasn’t there to correct anyone or make them feel bad about how they used language. Instead, she wanted to answer people’s questions and enjoy conversation with other language lovers. The Grammar Table proved so popular that Ellen took it on the road to almost all 50 US states and then wrote a book about the project called Rebel with a Clause. Now she is bringing her Grammar Table to Washington, D.C.-based language museum Planet Word to respond to your questions, and conundrums. Come enjoy a chat about grammar with Ellen in a friendly, judgment-free zone!

The book Rebel with a Clause will be available for sale and signing.

Buy the book in the USA or pre-order it in the UK.
