Music for all ages Music for all ages

Opera, jazz, pop & beyond – at an annual music festival in Montreal.

Festival de la Voix 2025

From Friday, April 4 to Sunday, April 27, 2025 – Festival de la Voix 2025 presents a program of concerts for all ages, along with master workshops and seminars, taking place at various venues across the West Island in Montreal. Programming features internationally renowned professional artists and musicians from various backgrounds, cultures and musical styles. Presented by Vox Aeterna.

“For the past twelve years, the festival has offered professional musicians from all musical genres an opportunity to express their creativity and expertise in concerts and workshops. These artists enrich our audiences, foster a deep connection through music and the spoken word, and perpetuate a strong sense of belonging and well-being.” – Kerry-Anne Kutz, Artistic Director

Celebrate the power of music & the human voice!

Featuring music every weekend in April, this year’s programming includes eight eclectic, multi-artist concerts, including choirs, jazz, big bands, East Indian fusion, opera, family sing-alongs, First Nations songs, and vocal quartets; two exceptional workshops; and unique school shows. Many are returning favourites. Audiences have an opportunity to meet artists after concerts and share their reflective feedback. Through this exchange, artists and audiences broaden their points of view and ideas, develop empathy, and sometimes make lasting, uplifting life changes.

Highlights of this year’s program include a free concert by jazz singer and guitarist Laura Anglade, with guitarist Mike Bruzzese; Stories with Selina Ann & “Sing, Sing, Sing” – storytelling and songs for children 2 to 6 and their parents – with educator and volunteer librarian Selina Ann; and a performance by members of the Atelier lyrique of L’Opéra de Montréal, featuring Justine Ledoux (mezzo-soprano), Bridget Esler (soprano), Ian Sabourin (counter tenor) and Jennifer Szeto (pianist).
