One night only – on Saturday, October 4, 2025 – Gillian Bartolucci tapes her debut comedy special I Love to Have to Do This, a best-of collection from her signature solo sketch work, in a live filmed event to be recorded during two shows at The Assembly Theatre.
Smart, sharp comedy that’s full of heart
I Love to Have to Do This celebrates 10 years of hysterical characters and epic monologues from Gillian Bartolucci – recorded live for the very first time. Directed by Carly Heffernan, this smart, sharp and full of heart night of comedy includes a ballad for the reusable bags that have taken over our homes, a protest against shrinkflation via nine-piece gum packs, an ode to linen: the greatest fabric of all time and much more.
I Love to Have to Do This will be released on YouTube at a later date.
