In this 1975 Turkish remake of Death Wish, featuring a knock-off Charles Bronson, a mild-mannered architect turns vigilante and seeks revenge as he stalks around Istanbul, hunting down a group of hoodlums who broke into his apartment and brutally attacked his wife and sister.

About Cellat (a.k.a. Turkish Death Wish)

The 1975 Turkish version of the famous 1974 American action crime drama Death Wish, Cellat was written by Bülent Oran and directed by Memduh Ün. This Turkish-language (with English subtitles) remake stays fairly close to the original, including some identical scenes and dialogue, complete with Charles Bronson-like star Serdar Gökhan. The Turkish word “cellat” translates into “executioner”.

The movie will be shown at See-Scape, a sci-fi, cyber punk-themed bar and café featuring an amazing menu, with bar service on two floors. Killer B movie screenings are on the second floor.
