After a child murderer and black magic practitioner transfers his soul to a doll before his death, the doll wreaks havoc on the lives of a boy and his older sister when the boy becomes the new owner – and its murderous rampage implicates the boy as a suspect.

Inspired by the American film series Child’s Play, Papi Gudia (translation: Sinful Doll) is a 1996 Indian Hindi-language horror film and unofficial remake of the first Child’s Play film (1988). Directed by Lawrence D’Souza, it stars Karisma Kapoor, Avinash Wadhavan, Tinnu Anand and Shakti Kapoor.
