Le Concierge (The Caretaker)

A man in uniform appears at the end of the corridor. Follow him and discover the astonishing nightly journey of a janitor as he goes from classroom to classroom and through the hidden corners of a school. Leap into an immersive, wordless experience where reality turns into a dream. Le Concierge (The Caretaker) paints a touching portrait of a lonely character whose work is too often taken for granted.

The astonishing nightly journey of a janitor

When you arrive at the school, you will be asked to put on a janitor uniform. You and your fellow audience members will then follow the janitor around the school building – in silence – as he does his nightly rounds. Along the way, you can choose where to stand or sit – this will determine the angles you take in the show from. If this sounds like an unusual kind of theatre play, you are right. It’s an incredibly powerful and impactful performance, probably unlike anything you have ever seen. You have to check it out for yourself to experience how fascinating Le Concierge (The Caretaker) is.

Please note:

  • Audience members are required to walk up and down stairways during the show.
  • Audiences members are required to wear a uniform (provided).
  • Masks are an integral part of your experience and one will be provided as a part of your costume.
  • Some scenes take place in low light and in tight spaces.
