The Theatre Centre celebrates 10 years at their home on Queen West

For one night only, on Thursday, March 21, 2024, The Theatre Centre hosts their 10 For 10 Launch Party, kickstarting 10 months of unique offerings to celebrate 10 years as a live arts & cultural hub in the former Carnegie Library at 1115 Queen West in Toronto. This building-wide party and fundraiser features pop-up performances (lineup includes Nova Dance, Ian Kamau, Al Val and Bruce A. Russell), music, dancing, games, a M.A.C. glam station and Lost Craft drinks.

We make work that spans disciplines and genres; work that pushes the boundaries of what is considered “art”. Our programming and our role as a community space are inextricably linked. Art is not made in a silo: it is connected to the world around it.

Celebrating the 10 year anniversary since The Theatre Centre moved into 1115 Queen Street West, they are going to bring 10 programs that investigate what this building can be. In addition to Residency and Comedy is Art, they are talking block party, TV-binge, barbecue, town hall, and more. Stay tuned for the full announcement coming soon.
