About Write Around the Murray (WAM)

Held in the vibrant regional city of Albury on the Murray River, Write Around the Murray has welcomed some of Australia’s best authors, illustrators and storytellers to the Albury Wodonga region – on the border of New South Wales and Victoria – since 2007. They host panel talks, literary workshops, poetry slams, theatre performances, art, historical and cultural tours, and more – plus a free Schools Program, offering students the opportunity to meet and work with established Australian authors and illustrators. You can see videos of some of their past events here.
