From the publisher:
This is the official exhibition catalogue for the 2012 Okanagan Print Triennial, a printmaking exhibition which was held from March 31 to June 17, 2012 at the Kelowna Art Gallery. The catalog contains an essay by Tegan Forbes and all twenty artists’ statements from the 2012 triennial, point-form biographies, and reproductions of each of the 87 artworks.

Launched in 2009 at the Vernon Public Art Gallery, the Okanagan Print Triennial is a printmaking exhibition held every three years in British Columbia, currently at the Vernon Public Art Gallery. The project was initiated by Kelowna-based printmaker Briar Craig, and supported by the Kelowna Art Gallery, the University of British Columbia, and Vernon Public Art Gallery. The exhibition is an open, juried show dedicated to showcasing the creative forays made with printmaking in Canada and beyond. The winner of each Triennial is given a solo show at the gallery not hosting the show the third year following. What’s special about the Okanagan Print Triennial is that more than one artwork is shown from each artist. That way visitors can get a fuller sense of the printmarker’s body of work.
