The Case Bound Book with Andrew Huot

Tue, Jun. 16 & Tue, Jun. 23: Canadian Bookbinders and Book Artists Guild hosts The Case Bound Book workshop. Students will learn a sewing structure for page blocks and create covers, which will then be joined to the sewn block. Facilitated by book artist and operator of Big River Bindery book art studio, Andrew Huot. Online via Zoom, with no prerequisite training needed.

This free event is open to everyone, especially those who love writing & receiving letters. Supplies, including typewriters, & refreshments provided. Learn how to create your own miniature book (5 cm diameter) that’s as cute as a button! No prerequisite training needed. Online via Zoom, with a maximum of 25 participants.

Family-friendly & free to attend (donation suggested). Presented with the Peterborough Public Library, in the Friends of the Library Room.
