Online starting Mon, Apr. 13, 2026 & in person at Hôtel 10, partner bookstores & local venues from Thu, Apr. 23 – Sun, Apr. 26, 2026: Immerse yourself in reading & writing, books & authors from around the world at the annual Blue Metropolis International Literary Festival as it explores the theme Words for Understanding One Another. Featuring local, national & internationally acclaimed authors at readings, interviews, round-table discussions, lectures, debates, & more, with many free events.

Violet Hour Book Club

The third Saturday or Sunday of every month: The Violet Hour Book Club, a reading & discussion group dedicated to exploring classic and contemporary LGBTQ literature, meets in Montreal. While events often occur at Espace des Possibles La Petite-Patrie, please check the website to confirm the date and location, as they can change from month to month.
