Sankofa: The Soldier’s Tale Retold

PAST EVENT: From Thu, Oct. 24 – Sun, Oct. 27, 2024: Art of Time Ensemble presents their final production, the world premiere of Sankofa: A Soldier’s Tale Retold at the Harbourfront Centre Theatre. A reimagining of Igor Stravinsky’s 1918 theatrical work L'Histoire du Soldat, this production revisits the story from today’s perspective, in a theatrical piece incorporating newly written poetic dialogue, accompanied by Stravinsky’s music, performed live.
