PAST EVENT: One day only – Sun, Nov. 3, 2024: Pleiades Theatre kicks off Part One of their 2024-25 season with a public workshop presentation of Karma, a new piece by Aksam Alyousef. A tale of horror & hope, it’s inspired by reincarnation & the choices we make. How does the environment in which we are created affect our thoughts, beliefs & actions? And how might this change in different circumstances?

The Flin Flon Cowboy

PAST EVENT: From Sat, Oct. 19 – Sat, Nov. 2, 2024: Theatre Passe Muraille & The Flin Flon Cowboy Collective, in association with Why Not Theatre, present the world premiere of The Flin Flon Cowboy, an autobiographical musical that brings the remarkable life of gay disabled artist, singer & rebel Ken Harrower to the stage. Goblin:Macbeth

PAST EVENT: EXTENDED to Sun, Nov. 3, 2024: Tarragon Theatre presents Spontaneous Theatre’s Goblin:Macbeth. When three Goblins come across a copy of the Complete Works of William Shakespeare, they’re eager to take over a theatre & take a stab at Macbeth. Art Toronto 2024

PAST EVENT: From Thu, Oct. 24 – Sun, Oct. 27, 2024: Art Toronto presents the 25th edition of its annual art exhibition at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre and various galleries around Toronto. The oldest and largest international art fair in Canada, it showcases 100+ galleries, installations, project spaces and more from around the world.

Sankofa: The Soldier’s Tale Retold

PAST EVENT: From Thu, Oct. 24 – Sun, Oct. 27, 2024: Art of Time Ensemble presents their final production, the world premiere of Sankofa: A Soldier’s Tale Retold at the Harbourfront Centre Theatre. A reimagining of Igor Stravinsky’s 1918 theatrical work L'Histoire du Soldat, this production revisits the story from today’s perspective, in a theatrical piece incorporating newly written poetic dialogue, accompanied by Stravinsky’s music, performed live. For audiences 13+.

Comedy is Art. Festival 2024

PAST EVENT: Five nights only, from Tue, Oct. 22 – Sat, Oct. 26, 2024: The Theatre Centre presents its annual Comedy is Art. Festival.
